Mindfulness S.I.T. is Bliss & Stars Seven-week Introduction Training to developing and incorporating an active and ongoing mindfulness meditation practice in all aspects of life.
Mindfulness S.I.T. will help to train acceptance and confidence to surrender to life as it unfolds. Also, to find the courage and freedom to live the life you’ve always meant to live.
Mindfulness is one of the most potent ways for personal development. It helps to reduce the suffering and fear and allows the joys of life to be felt more deeply. It’s a way to discover who you are, gain direct access to experience the full potential of life and its powerful resources.
This course is tailored to meet the specific needs of participants and offers step-by-step guidance to learn the nuts and bolts of mindfulness meditation.
In this course, you will learn to reduce your stress and gain more happiness by:
Understanding the mind
Exploring the causes of stress and suffering
Developing a healthier relationship with your thoughts and emotions
Reconnecting body and mind
The course lasts for 6-7 weeks. We meet once a week for 2.5 hours and one day (7 hours) of guided silence. Throughout the course, there will be meditation exercises, gentle yoga exercises, group dialog, individually tailored instruction and various group exercises.
The success of the program depends on your commitment to a personal daily practice (at least 30 minutes daily) between classes.
Included: 7 classes, course workbook, and recorded guided meditations for practice at home.
Light snacks and beverages will be served.
There are six weekly classes on Sunday morning from 9.00 am - 11.30 am and a full day of guided silence.
WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?
This S.I.T. course is open to all, regardless of your previous experience with meditation or mindfulness. The course is appropriate for beginners as well as experienced meditators who want to refresh the fundamentals of their practice.
